Healthy Halloween Snacks
Halloween is coming, which means bowls full of candy and random children ringing your doorbell all through the night. The kids may want the chocolate, the candy, and all the other shenanigans that go with the night of fright, but you can stay above the temptation if you keep the right snacks on hand!
- FITCRUNCH Bars –
Ok, so what if you could have birthday cake, chocolate chip cookie dough, or cookies and cream and got to avoid all the guilt? With a whopping thirty grams of protein and only six grams a sugar you’ll be able to love the taste, but miss the junk food with each bar you eat.
- FITCRUNCH Brownies –
There is just something about brownies that puts a smile on our face. Well, Robert Irvine did this classic snack justice when he developed a 160 calories brownie with 15 grams of protein and 6 grams of sugar.
- Fruit Bowls –
Fresh cut fruit in a bowl can satisfy our cravings while providing healthy sugars, vitamins, and minerals in our diet. Try mixing in fruits that you wouldn’t normally eat with the ones you love to boost the nutrient profile.
- Trail Mix –
Crunching on peanuts, almonds, and walnut clusters are great ways to boost protein and healthy fat intake. Adding in some dark chocolate, raisins, granola chunks, and other dried fruits can turn a handful of nuts into a delicious trail mix that tastes great and fuels your body.
- Vegetable Chips –
Many companies are taking vegetables such as spinach, kale, beets, and root vegetables and turning them into crunchy chips that don’t miss the mark of satisfaction.
